Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

The P Capital Inc. ("The P", "we") provides mortgage services in Alberta through Mortgage Connection, a Dominion Lending Centres brokerage. This policy explains how we handle your personal information under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. What we collect

Information needed to arrange your mortgage: identity and contact details, employment and income, assets and debts, credit information, property details, and the documents that support them.

2. Why we collect it

To assess your financing needs, recommend suitable options, submit your application to lenders and insurers, meet legal and regulatory requirements, and service your mortgage over time.

3. Who we share it with

Only as needed for your mortgage: our brokerage, lenders, mortgage insurers, appraisers, lawyers, and service providers who support our work. We do not sell your information.

4. Where your information is stored and processed

  • Our email and document storage are hosted in Canada.
  • Our administrative assistant works remotely through these Canadian-hosted systems and cannot download your files to a personal device.
  • Some software tools we use (for example, communication and productivity tools) may process or store data outside Canada, mainly in the United States. Information held outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that country.

5. How we protect it

Access is limited to people who need it for your file, through secured accounts with multi-factor authentication. Everyone who works with us is bound by confidentiality obligations.

6. How long we keep it

As long as needed for your mortgage and at least seven years, as required by regulation. After that, it is securely deleted.

7. Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about how we handle it, including our use of service providers outside Canada. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal requirements; this may affect our ability to arrange your mortgage.
